Scope
Kitchen design, flat-panel veneer cabinetry, quartz specification, appliance integration
Pale birch veneer flat-panel doors, a single continuous white quartz worktop, no visible handles, no visible appliances. The kitchen was designed from a conviction that a truly modern room has already removed everything it does not need. What remains is the materiality of the birch — its grain, its warmth, its refusal to be ignored.
The veneer was book-matched across every door face — the grain continues unbroken across thirty linear metres of cabinetry. Push-to-open Servo-Drive mechanisms operate every cabinet and drawer silently and without touch. The quartz was selected for the faint texture in its surface that prevents it reading as synthetic.

"It is the calmest room in the house and the most used. I had not understood that those two things could coexist."
