Scope
Double vanity design, in-frame painted cabinetry, limestone specification, brass tapware, installation
A Queens family home wanted a bathroom that felt inherited rather than installed. Sage green in-frame cabinetry, a honed limestone counter, and brass taps form a double vanity rooted in English country proportions but built for the daily life of a family of five. The room earns its warmth.
The sage was mixed by eye to sit between eucalyptus and the grey-green of the garden outside the window. In-frame construction with solid oak internals means the vanity is repairable rather than replaceable. The limestone was selected for the softness of its tone against the painted cabinetry — warm where the brass is cool.
