Scope
Double vanity design, lacquered cabinetry, marble specification, brass hardware, installation
A Manhattan penthouse bathroom with a wall of fluted glass demanded a vanity that held its own against the architecture. Deep charcoal lacquer, book-matched white marble, and brushed brass faucets — a double vanity that reads as furniture rather than fittings. The room is resolved from every angle.
The lacquer was hand-applied in twelve coats to a depth the client described as looking into something. The marble was selected at the yard for the way its vein travels across both basins as one unbroken line. Integrated drawer storage sits behind full-height doors, keeping the counter clear of everything but the brass.
